Hello and welcome to All The Hard
Things! I am Katie and I am on a weight loss journey. I live in a
small-ish town in Utah with my husband Eli, and our two cats Fritz and
Abby. I have struggled with weight my entire life. I just turned 29 and
was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, as well as high blood
pressure and cholesterol. I have lost 25 pounds since March, and I am
excited to see where the next year will take me!
I
have always looked to other blogs and resources for help and
motivation. I thought that since I have finally started down this path
to change my lifestyle for good, that I would try to post my own
inspirations to help myself and others succeed.
I
want this to be a place where we dive into the hard things head on;
finally and honestly opening up about them. There are so many things
that we are affected by on a daily basis that can both aid us in and
deter us from our goals...and they shouldn't be ignored! They need to be
celebrated if they are helpmeets, and put into their proper place if
they take us away from living the most beautiful life possible. Life is
too short to spend time on worry and self-doubt.
Life
is meant to be enjoyed and lived to the fullest, which is why it is
time for me to put on my game face and tackle the things that are
keeping me from my dreams!
Whether
